NOTD Different Dimension & Dior

Happy Tuesday everyone.  I received some EPIC nail mail from my sweetheart yesterday & decide wanted to wear ALL of them right away.  But unfortunately, I didn't have enough fingers.  Today I have for you an indie polish by Different Dimensions called Today Was a Fairytale & Dior Purple Mix.

Today Was A Fairytale is a gorgeous white jelly polish mixed with large pink & holographic circle glitters, multiple sized holographic glitters with the most beautiful pink/purple/holographic shimmer.  My iPhone could not do this polish justice.  I layered 2 coats over a basic white although it could very easily be worn on its own.  The formula was very good & the glitters did not have to be fished.

I also did a gradient using Dior's Purple Mix.  This was my very 1st Dior polish & let me tell you this sucka is SUPER pigmented!  The color actually dried much darker on the nail than in the bottle but I still thinks its very beautiful.  The formula was flawless!  I loved this mani!

Emily De Molly & Smitten Polish

Hi everyone.  Today I would like to show you one of my FAVORITE indie polish makers Emily De Molly!  Emily De Molly is an Aussie Indie maker.  I can't believe how she's blown up within the last year but boy am I so very proud of her!  I own 23 of her polishes but it's my ultimate goal to own every single one of her polishes!  Yes, I love them THAT MUCH!

Up first:  Simplicity

Simplicity is a lavender crelly polish with white matte glitters of different sizes.  This polish is so simple, yet sophisticated all at the same time.  My iPhone could not do it justice.  I love ALL shades of purple so this is skyrocketed into my top 10 favorite polishes!!

Application was a breeze.  Pictured below is 2 coats topped with 1 coat of Seche Vite top coat.
Up Next:  Accent Finger Oceanic Forces & Smitten Polish Naiad

Oceanic Forces is a dark blue Jelly polish with large circle & small holographic glitters.  This has to be in my top 5 favorite polishes of 2013.  It's gorgeous & my pictures do not do it justice.

Smitten Polish Naiad is a blue/green polish loaded with purple flecks.  It's very similar to Rescue Beauty Lounge Aqua Lily but not an exact dupe.  If you couldn't get hour hands on Aqua Lily, this should definitely satisfy your lemming.  This polish is so beautiful!   I had no problems with application.
You can purchase her polishes from directly from her Etsy shop or her website if you reside in Australia.  If you reside elsewhere, you can purchase them from Llarowe;  but be warned, her polishes sell out in MINUTES of launching!  But if you have the patience, it's worth it!

Smitten Polish can be purchased Here.  Her polishes are easier to obtain and are gorgeous as well.

My New Franken "Blue Lagoon Mist"

Happy Sunday everyone!

Today I want to share with you guys my new Custom Franken called "Blue Lagoon Mist".  Blue Lagoon Mist was named by my 10 year old daughter.  It was either that or "Blue-A-Licious" lololol.  (She cracks me up).  Anyway, I ordered a ton of franken supplies from TKB Trading & received the order on Thursday and I couldn't wait to try them out.  Well last night, I got to franking.  You should have seen me.  I looked like a mad scientist lol.  My middle daughter is 21 & even she was intrigued and sat & watched & critiqued the entire time lol.

Blue Lagoon Mist is a very light almost beach blue with a ton of soft micro shimmer blue & holo glitters.  I wanted something that reminded me of Sinful Colors Cinderella but with a better application & with dark blue glitter specs in it.  It came out EXACTY as I wanted & i'm so proud of it.  I used 2 different pigments from TKB along with the Luster suspension base.  I was worried that the glitters would sink because I didn't have glamour base but I woke up this morning & they were standing strong.  I think because the glitters are so small.

Anyway, enough of me rambling and on with the pictures.  Let me know what you think.

Pictured below are 2 coats of Blue Lagoon Mist with 1 coat of NYC in a minute top coat.  The application was BUTTER!! GO ME! GO ME!

Fierce Frankens 'Fun In The Sun" (Pic Heavy)

Happy Saturday Everyone!!

Today I wanted to share with you some amazing polishes from Fierce Frankens.  This is from her Fun In The Sun Collection.  I originally saw this collection on Polish Obsession's Blog who happens to be one of my favorite bloggers.  I fell so in love with these that I purchased the set & i'm so glad that I did!

First up is Rainbow Sherbet.   It is described as a light orange polish with  multicolored small hexagonal and micro glitters.

The name describes this polish PERFECTLY!!  It reminded me of when I was young on a hot summer day & my mother pulling out the triple flavored Sherbet.  You know the one with the orange, green & raspberry...YUMMY!  This is my favorite out of the collection.

Pictured below is 2 coats of Rainbow Sherbet with 1 coat of NYC in a minute fast drying top coat.  There were no problems with application.

Next up is Sea Glass.  It is described as a light blue/green polish with multicolored small hexagonal & micro glitters.

Sea Glass reminded me of the beach for some reason.  I don't know if the name put the beach in my mind or not but the ocean & shells on the beach popped into my mind when I first saw it.  It's stunning.

Pictured below is two coats of Sea Glass & 1 coat of NYC in a minute top coat.  There were no application problems.

Next up is Berry Slushie.  It is described as  a Lavender Purple polish with multicolored small hexagonal and micro glitters.

Everyone knows purple is my favorite color & Berry Slushie does not disappoint!  This polish reminds me of the streets of NY on a hot day & you stop to get one of those super cold ice pops!  Those things are delicious by the way.

Pictured with 2 coats of Berry Slushie with 1 coat of NYC in a minute top coat.  There were no application problems.

Last but not least is Pink Lemonade.  It is described as Watermelon Pink.  It supposed to put you in the mind of a large pitcher of Pink Lemonade & it definitely does that & does it well!!

Pictured below is 2 coats of Pink Lemonade with 1 coat of NYC in a minute top coat.

Note:  The sun refused to cooperate today.  All photos were taken in natural light on a VERY cloudy day.

I personally am in love with this collection.   What are your thoughts?

Zoya Yara ~ Beautiful Green

Good evening everyone,

Today I want to show off another one of my Zoya polishes that I purchased during their B3G3 free promotion.  Her name is Yara!  Yara is a gorgeous army green with tons of gold micro glitter.  It's stunning in the bottle & just as magnificent on the nail.

Yara's formula is a dream.  I used 2 coats for the perfect coverage & had no issues whatsoever.  Did I tell you guys that Zoya is my favorite brand?  I was scared that the color would be off putting on my skin tone but I actually like it on me.  Pictured is Yara without a top coat & she's still super shiny.  The gold glitter shines bright!  I knew I was going to stamp over it so I didn't think the top coat was necessary.

Zoya Roxy

I picked up Roxy during the Zoya promotion buy 3 get 3 free. I have to admit, Zoyas promotions are the absolute best! I saw swatches of Roxy on the Zoya Facebook page & thought it was amazing. I also thought it would look good against my skin tone. And boy was I right!!!

This baby is a STUNNER!! It applied with perfection. 2 coats & Roxy blinged all over the place. I topped it with a coat of NYC in a minute top coat (which happens to be my fav)

Roxy is a dark berry base with tons of berry glitter. I fell absolutely in love. This has moved to one of my fav colors. I didn't want to remove this looker but I have to swatch the rest of my purchases. Enjoy the pics.

Note: pictures are taken with my iPhone as I'm not a professional reviewer. I do this for fun.

Running late with jacked up nails...

I woke up late this morning! I run to the shower and get dressed. I look at the clock & realize I have exactly 8 minutes to get to work without being late. I compose myself, throw my hair into a ponytail & head out the door. As soon as I place my hand on my steering wheel and realize I have NAKED NAILS!!!

I dash back into the house & grab the very 1st polish off of my nail rack. OPI "Let Me Entertain You". I drive like a mad woman to work & clock in. I was 3 minutes late!!

I went to the break room & paint nails. No top coat, No polish remover for mistakes... Just polish and me! And the polish won. My nails look horrible! But I'm going to share them anyway because I thought this was hysterical! I've been hiding my nails all morning...

Enjoy.. Until next time
